In-Office Steps	Take maxillary and mandibular full arch impression with border molding, using a medium body PVS or alginate Take preliminary full arch bite or mush bite for edentulous	Verify fit & vertical dimension Take full arch bite Verify midline and cuspid placement on BB Mark high lip line on BB Mark low lip line on BB Select the tooth shade	Seat the denture Verify vertical dimension Verify bite Evaluate esthetics and speech If try in fits, no need for another appointment	Seat the denture Verify vertical Verify bite Verify esthetics and speech Adjust denture as needed
Tips	If using alginate, pour the impression immediately.	If the bite block does not fit, take a wash impression. Trim bite block if needed, cover entire occlusal of bite block with bite material and guide the patient to close into centric.	If the bite is off, take a new full arch bite with the denture seated. Check for “F” sounds and “S” sounds.	Counsel patients to avoid cleaners containing peroxide or bleach.
